AI Policy

Last Updated: February 10, 2026

The Influencer League, LLC (“TIL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to transparency about how we use artificial intelligence (AI) technology in our services. This AI Policy explains how our AI tool, Gage, works, what data it uses, and how we protect your privacy while leveraging AI to serve underrepresented creators.

1. Introduction to Gage

Gage is TIL’s AI-powered creator coach designed to provide creators with:

  • Rate calculation: Data-backed pricing guidance that accounts for deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and deal structure
  • Contract review and negotiation support: General (non-legal) guidance to help you understand contract language, usage rights, negotiation points, and what clauses mean in the context of brand partnerships
  • Brand growth strategy: Content planning and audience development guidance using TIL’s proprietary frameworks
  • Revenue and monetization advice: Strategic guidance on choosing revenue streams, streamlining operations, and building sustainable income
  • Performance metrics interpretation: Help understanding what your analytics mean and how to use them strategically

Gage is designed to democratize access to sophisticated pricing knowledge, contract understanding, and strategic guidance that has historically been available only to creators with significant resources or agency representation.

2. How Gage Works

2.1 AI Technology

Gage uses machine learning models trained on proprietary knowledge developed by TIL’s founder, including years of industry experience, proprietary formulas and methodologies, strategic frameworks, and insights gained from direct work with creators. The AI processes this proprietary knowledge base along with user-provided creator data to generate insights, identify patterns, and provide recommendations tailored to individual creators.

Gage does not scrape the internet or pull from general industry databases. Its knowledge comes exclusively from TIL’s proprietary expertise and the data you provide when using the platform.

2.2 Gage’s Image

The visual representation of Gage (profile image or avatar) is AI-generated. This has been disclosed to users, and we maintain transparency about the use of AI-generated imagery in our branding.

3. Data Used to Train and Improve Gage

3.1 Creator Data That Trains Gage

User content trains Gage. When you use TIL’s services, the following data may be used to train and improve Gage:

  • Platform Analytics: Social media metrics, engagement rates, follower demographics, content performance data (when you provide this data)
  • Usage Patterns: How you use TIL services, which features you access, what resources you engage with
  • Content Insights: Types of content you create, niches/categories you operate in, strategies you implement
  • Interaction Data: Questions you ask Gage, feedback you provide, actions you take based on recommendations
  • Community Data: Aggregated and anonymized insights from the broader TIL creator community
  • Survey and Feedback: Responses to surveys, feedback forms, and direct input you provide

This user-generated data enhances Gage’s ability to provide personalized recommendations by combining TIL’s proprietary knowledge with real-world creator experiences and outcomes.

3.2 Data We Do NOT Use

We do not use the following data to train Gage without your explicit consent:

  • Private messages or confidential communications
  • Payment information or financial details beyond aggregate pricing trends
  • Personal health information
  • Information about minors
  • Content explicitly marked as private or confidential

3.3 How We Process Your Data

Before using your data to train Gage, we:

  • Aggregate and anonymize data whenever possible to protect individual privacy
  • De-identify personal information so models learn from patterns rather than individual identities
  • Filter sensitive or inappropriate content from training datasets
  • Secure all data using encryption and access controls

Your individual data is combined with data from thousands of other creators to identify trends, patterns, and best practices that benefit the entire community.

4. How Gage Uses Your Data

4.1 To Provide Personalized Insights

When you interact with Gage, the tool uses your specific data (such as stated goals and content history) to provide personalized recommendations. This personalization happens in real-time and is designed to give you the most relevant guidance.

4.2 To Improve the Service

Your interactions with Gage—including the questions you ask, the recommendations you follow, and the feedback you provide—help us improve the tool for all users. This continuous learning process allows Gage to become more accurate, relevant, and helpful over time.

4.3 For Research and Impact Measurement

We use aggregated data from Gage to:

  • Measure progress toward our mission to cut the racial and gender pay gap in the creator economy
  • Generate insights for our Gage Impact Reports
  • Conduct research on creator economy trends
  • Identify systemic barriers and opportunities for underrepresented creators

This research uses only aggregated, de-identified data and contributes to industry knowledge and advocacy efforts.

5. Your Control Over Your Data

5.1 Data You Provide

You control what data you share with Gage. You can choose to:

  • Provide or withhold specific information
  • Limit what data you input into the platform
  • Use Gage without connecting external accounts

5.2 Opt-Out Options

While we cannot completely separate your data from Gage’s training if you use the service (as user interactions inherently inform the model), you can:

  • Request data deletion: Contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Limit sharing: Choose not to participate in specific data collection activities, such as surveys or optional analytics sharing
  • Provide feedback: Let us know if you have concerns about how your data is being used

5.3 Access and Correction

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data (with certain limitations)

See our Privacy Policy for more details on exercising these rights.

6. Transparency and Disclosure

6.1 When AI Is Used

We clearly disclose when Gage is providing AI-generated insights or recommendations. Users interacting with Gage understand they are receiving AI-powered guidance, not direct human advice.

6.2 Human Oversight

While Gage provides automated recommendations, our team:

  • Monitors Gage’s performance and accuracy
  • Reviews feedback and flags potential issues
  • Updates and refines the AI models regularly
  • Intervenes when necessary to correct errors or address concerns

6.3 AI-Generated Content

We do not use AI to generate content on behalf of creators without explicit disclosure. The only AI-generated content we use is Gage’s visual representation (avatar/image), which has been disclosed.

7. Limitations and Accuracy

7.1 AI Is Not Perfect

Gage is a tool powered by AI, which means:

  • Recommendations may not always be accurate or applicable to your specific situation
  • The AI may reflect biases present in training data, though we actively work to identify and mitigate such biases
  • Insights are based on historical patterns and may not predict future outcomes
  • The tool cannot account for every unique circumstance or nuance in the creator economy

7.2 User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Verifying any information or recommendations provided by Gage
  • Making your own informed decisions about your creator business
  • Not relying solely on AI-generated insights for critical business decisions
  • Using Gage as a supplement to, not a replacement for, human judgment and expertise

7.3 No Guarantees

Gage provides guidance and insights, but we do not guarantee specific results, earnings, or outcomes from following its recommendations. Success in the creator economy depends on many factors beyond AI predictions.

8. Data Security and Privacy

8.1 Security Measures

We protect the data used by Gage with industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Secure access controls and authentication
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Limited access to sensitive data on a need-to-know basis

8.2 Data Retention

We retain data used to train Gage in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research and model improvement purposes.

8.3 Third-Party Access

We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share aggregated, de-identified data with:

  • Researchers studying the creator economy
  • Partners working to advance equity in digital media
  • Industry organizations advocating for underrepresented creators

Individual-level data is never shared without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

9. Bias and Fairness

9.1 Our Commitment

TIL is committed to building AI tools that advance equity, not perpetuate bias. We actively work to:

  • Identify and mitigate biases in Gage’s training data and outputs
  • Ensure diverse representation in the data used to train the model
  • Monitor for disparate impacts across different creator demographics
  • Continuously improve Gage’s fairness and inclusivity

9.2 Reporting Bias

If you believe Gage is producing biased, discriminatory, or unfair recommendations, please report this to us at contact@theinfluencerleague.com. We take these concerns seriously and will investigate and address issues promptly.

10. Changes to AI Technology

As AI technology evolves, we may update Gage’s capabilities, data usage, or functionality. We will notify users of significant changes to how Gage works or uses data by:

  • Updating this AI Policy and the “Last Updated” date
  • Sending email notifications for material changes
  • Posting announcements on our platform

Your continued use of Gage after changes are implemented constitutes acceptance of the updated AI Policy.

11. Children and AI

Gage is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors to train our AI models.

12. Third-Party AI Services

In some cases, we may use third-party AI services or tools to support Gage’s functionality. When we do, we ensure these third parties have appropriate data protection and privacy measures in place. We remain responsible for how your data is used, even when processed by third-party services.

13. Your Feedback Matters

We value your input on Gage’s performance, accuracy, and usefulness. Your feedback helps us improve the tool and better serve the creator community. Please share your thoughts, concerns, or suggestions at contact@theinfluencerleague.com.
